UPDATE! UPDATE!! UPDATE!!
It has been a while since I posted on this site and I need to update all the information.
I had mentioned in one of my previous posts that I had finally found a network marketing company that I knew would work for me. I gave it my all for 9 months and went to the annual convention to help boost my excitement and set more goals. I was doing okay with it, building my team and getting to know people.
I developed a tremendous team family through FaceBook which was our way of supporting each other and helping everyone to build the business. It was going very well and things were looking up.
August came and I was excited about going to the convention. I sacrificed to get the money together to go because I knew it would help me for the future.
I got there and met so many of my FaceBook friends from all over the country. It was a joy to be able to meet them and socialize with them. We were told the first night that there would be a big announcement during the meeting the next day. We waited with great anticipation.
The next day, our CEO got up and announced that Vitel had merged with and new company called Shopping Sherlock! WOW! We could not believe it and was wondering how this would affect all of the team members, those that had struggled so hard to make it and those who were just getting started.
The top leaders met later with the CEO of Shopping Sherlock and were told that all of us would be grandfathered in and that tremendous things wold take place as a result of it.
First, fear and anticipation set in as to what would happen. My husband already was skeptical of my network marketing ventures because I never really made it in anything and he was leery of this type of business anyway. Now what would he think when I came home with this news!
Our leaders came back with some very reassuring news and we felt that this would really become a blessing to all of us. By the time I got back home and explained it all to my husband (who reluctantly accepted it), I was ready to embark on this new learning curve and adventure.
My commitment to Vitel was one year +. In other-words, I would not back out after I had given it my all and stayed with it for at least a year or more. We were given the assurance that by being grandfathered in would really set us up in a very favored position. This all sounded so good.
Reality set in as time went on. The comp plan was a binary hybrid and not a unilevel which we had with Vitel. After all the transitions were done, those of us who had only a few members on our team, had to get at least 2 more new people in order to take full advantage of the commissions coming from the weaker leg. Now this is not to say it is a bad comp plan; in fact it is a very good plan and will make people a lot of money as long as they sponsor a minimum of 2 people.
My problem has always been the sponsoring of people. I just am not a good sales person. I do all of the things that the team tells me, but for some reason, I have problems bringing people aboard. I don't blame anyone but myself. Somewhere I seem to be missing a link and in time that will come.
It has now been 7 months since Shopping Sherlock has been active in my life. I haven't given up, but I'm not making any money, just paying the monthly small fee so I can build up my banked volume (which by the way you never lose unless you stop paying the monthly fee. I have nearly $3,000 in there right now and as soon as 2 people join my team, it will be unlocked. So I look at it like this, I am building a savings account that I will be able to tap into in the future.
So that is what is happening! Oh!! Did I tell you that all we do is give away FREE S2 savers? If you are interested JUST CLICK HERE
